The wild rose is one of my favorite flowers for its simplicity yet alluring nature. Delicate petals flutter in the wind, while yellow centers are steadfast, preparing to become rosehips. In this pendant, I used a very special piece of quartz that has many imperfections, yet these are what make this piece sing. Reflections of light cause small rainbows to glint through, small fiery flashes. Sometimes I look at this piece and see it almost as if the flowers are peering through ice. It's an absolutely incredible piece to hold in your hand. Sometimes nature is just remarkable.
Wild roses symbolize love, beauty, and resilience, embodying nature's purity and simplicity. They evoke sentiments of romance, innocence, and untamed elegance. Thriving in diverse environments, they represent balance and harmony, while their delicate blooms convey enduring admiration and appreciation.

Vitreous enamel, has been used for centuries and was notably employed by ancient Egyptians as far back as 1500 BCE to adorn jewelry. Its enduring popularity lies in its vibrant colors and durability, making it a timeless art form that has stood the test of time.

Care for your Enamel Jewelry:
I have chosen high-quality materials to create a piece of artful jewelry that will last a lifetime. Even though they will be so comfortable, you might forget they are there, try not to bathe or swim with them. Moisture from the water will cause your silver to darken very quickly, especially chlorine. Next, put on perfume or body spray before your jewelry, and lastly, I recommend removing it before using cleaning products. Many will cause silver to darken from the fumes, and some can even hurt your enamel, so to be careful, I always recommend removing all jewelry.
