Shipping, Returns and Repairs

Shipping:

Domestic shipping:

All domestic orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail or Ground Advantage and are fully insured.

• Orders under $100 are insured through USPS.

• Orders over $100 are insured through Shipsurance.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location.

I believe it’s very important to insure your purchase. Please know that I do everything possible to ensure your package arrives safely; however, once it leaves my hands, it’s in the care of USPS.

In the rare event that your package does not arrive, a claim will need to be filed. I will work closely with you to find the best solution. Please note that I rely on USPS tracking information and their final determination, as it directly impacts the outcome of all claims.

If your order arrives damaged, please keep all original packaging and materials until the claim is resolved. Do not throw anything away, as USPS/Shipsurance requires these items for inspection and verification.

It’s never a good feeling when something goes wrong, but I’ll do everything I can to resolve it quickly and fairly.

International shipping:

I apologize, but my international shipping is currently closed

Due to the new GPSR rules and regulations for EU countries. Starting in 2025, I will no longer ship to these countries. Why? Because to ship to EU countries, I would need a local liaison in each country, and as a small business, I am unable to hire someone internationally at this time. These rules only apply to EU countries.

With the current tariffs my international shipping is temporary turned off until shipping calms down and I have a clear understanding of what's happening. 

For the future however,  here is how my international shipping works.

International Shipping Policy:

International shipping can be unpredictable, so I only use UPS for reliability and speed. Most international orders arrive within 3 days to 1 week, and all are fully insured, just like domestic shipments.

Please note that any customs fees, taxes, tariffs, or import duties (often referred to as VAT) are the responsibility of the recipient. These charges are determined by your country and must be paid in order for your package to be delivered or picked up.

I am legally required to declare the full purchase value of each order on the customs form. I cannot alter or understate the order amount to reduce customs fees.

If a package is returned because customs fees were not paid, shipping costs (including any fees required for re-entry into the United States) will not be refunded. Any remaining balance may be issued as a shop credit.

Returns:

I cannot cancel transactions or accept returns during the sale. I do not accept returns or exchanges. Rest assured that I make sure that pieces ship in perfect condition. I advise that you look at the photos carefully and read the description on each item and ask questions if needed before you purchase.

Please note that I cannot accept any returns for any pieces purchased from one of my retailers. The piece must be returned to the retailer based on their policies. 

Repairs:

I guarantee my work but sometimes things happen. I offer free repairs for my work if something is faulty from my end. I also offer repair fees for broken jewelry due to damage such as dropping it or it being stepped on, chewed by your beloved pet ect. To determine what kind of repair is necessary for your piece I will need pictures emailed to me at Jessartjeweler@gmail.com I will then advise you on the next course of action.
