The sweetest floral enamel jewelry!
The process begins with multiple sketches for each piece. Drawing allows me to capture the ideal floral design. Once satisfied with the drawn flower, I hand-paint it onto prepared enamel surfaces. I craft each enamel blank by hand, often using copper due to its similar expansion and contraction properties as enamel, preventing cracking. The entire piece, including enamel, undergoes fusion in a 1450° kiln to melt the glass. Finally, I can incorporate these hand-painted artworks into silver settings or suspend them from earring wires.
