In the quiet hush of night, when the world feels heavy with shadow, the moth still seeks the light. Fragile, luminous, unwavering—it flutters forward, drawn by something unseen but deeply known. A promise. A hope.

I painted these tiny moths with an iridescent shimmer, capturing the way their wings catch the light in the darkness, how they glow even when all seems dim. Set in silver, they rest above faceted kyanite—like pools of midnight sky reflecting the first traces of dawn.

These earrings are a reminder that even in the darkest moments, there is something to reach for. That light still exists, even if only as a glimmer. That hope is not just a feeling, but a force—one that carries us forward, just as it does the moth.

May they remind you to keep searching for the light.

Fun fact:

Vitreous enamel, a technique cherished for centuries, traces its origins back to ancient civilizations like the Egyptians, who adorned jewelry with its vibrant hues as far back as 1500 BCE. What sets vitreous enamel apart is not just its rich history but also its remarkable durability. Crafted from fused glass, the colors are permanently bonded to the metal base, ensuring they never scratch off or fade over time. This fusion of glass and metal creates jewelry that not only dazzles with its timeless beauty but also stands strong against the wear and tear of everyday life.

Care for your Enamel Jewelry:
I have chosen high-quality materials to create a piece of artful jewelry that will last a lifetime. Even though they will be so comfortable, you might forget they are there, try not to bathe or swim with them. Moisture from the water will cause your silver to darken very quickly, especially chlorine. Next, put on perfume or body spray before your jewelry, and lastly, I recommend removing it before using cleaning products. Many will cause silver to darken from the fumes, and some can even hurt your enamel, so to be careful, I always recommend removing all jewelry. A beautiful care card will come with your jewelry.
